Alice's Recommended Daily Schedule For Digital Product Sellers
Yusef: If someone wants to start a business selling courses or printables, this is again another question from Beth, what would a reasonable daily or weekly schedule look like for that type of business?
Alice: Well, I think that's up to you. And I think that's a great follow-up to the outsourcing question, because the more you build your team, the more flexibility you have in your schedule. And how much time you'll spend really depends on all the little decisions that you make on how you want to run your business or how you want to build your audience; how much you want to be involved.
But, I think it's important to make sure that you set aside every day, or every day that you work, to do three things.
First is do something to build your audience. That will help you get more people in your community on your mailing list, wherever it is. And if they get in your community, try to get them on that mailing list. But do that one thing everyday.
Second is one thing to grow your sales every day, whether it's send out an e-mail, which probably should be done every day anyway, but something that will increase your sales. Or work on a sales page.
Third is something nurture your audience. So that would be communicating with them, helping them being useful, so that they want to continue to listen to you.
So the three things are: build your audience, do something to grow your sales and nurture your audience. Three things every day, and that's how you can build your schedule around that, I think.
